Can you tell us about your career after graduating?
I majored in international relations at university, and I can speak English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Taking advantage of that ability, I have worked as a hotel manager in Busan and Tokyo and as a ground manager at Cathay Pacific Airlines. Through that experience, I was able to meet and interact with many people abroad and understand their customs and personalities. Taking advantage of that experience, I am currently working as a manager of the KJ GROUP’s overseas business general and operation team.
What is the atmosphere at work?
The KJ GROUP has multinational staff. We respect the customs and culture of the staff and each individual’s personality as well. We also exchange our opinions with each other in a horizontal relationship rather than a vertical one, and we have discussions every day that help our organization move forward. Staff’s enthusiasm, not driven by management orders, is driving the company even further towards our goals.
Can you tell us what you do when you go on a business trip abroad?
We have 6 overseas branches. Whenever I go on a business trip abroad, I meet and negotiate with investors there, and share opinions with the staff of each overseas branch. We also express our opinions to the financial authorities of each country and coordinate our business according to regulations. These kinds of things are very important to me, as I want to connect and communicate with people all over the world.
What do you want to do with this company in the future?
I want to continue to use my abilities for the development of our business. The development of the company is directly related to my personal development, and it will increase my value. I will help the KJ GROUP grow beyond Asia into a European and global financial company. Maybe at that time it will be necessary to book a flight ticket not only to Asia regions but all over the world
