As a Customer Service Officer of One World Financial Education Organization, I am mainly responsible for explaining the company to the customer, performing presentations for company seminars, and preparing documentations and materials. I’m also in charge of helping the customers sign contracts and making and managing a list of customers’ funding information.
Why did you choose this company?
I used to have these images of “finance” being very strict and conservative. However, when I first came to the company for an interview those images were wiped away, and that’s why I decided to join the team with hope to grow together. I also heard that I could work while learning even if I had no experience in finance. I chose this job because I wanted to try new fields and improve my skills.
What makes your work worthwhile?
I think that our company’s business model is the very feature that no other company has, but it is most importantly characterized by the close relationships between the directors and the staff and the open atmosphere at the workplace. There is an environment where you can consult immediately if you have any problems, and that’s been very helpful for me!
What was the most exciting thing about your job?
I remember one time when I talked with a customer for more than 30 minutes, explaining about an investment fund. As a result, I managed to get rid of her anxiety and get her to sign a contract. We explain about our company to customers who visit us for the first time, provide support though making contracts and after-sales care, so we need to be close and caring to them. A lot of our customers show their appreciation towards us, and that helps me work with more confidence.
